The Embassy of Egypt in New Delhi and its Consular office in Mumbai are the only designated centers to obtain an Egypt tourist visa. Types of Egypt Visas for Indians
For Indian passport holders, an Egypt visa has three categories: tourist/visitor visa, transit visa, and business visa.
Tourist or Visitor Visa
Granted to Indians visiting the country for tourist purposes or visiting relatives, tourist/visitor visa requires applicants to submit income tax return of last 3 years and salary slip for the last 6 months along with the other common documents.
Indians travelling to a third country via transit in Egypt (for less than 24 hours) require a transit visa. One needs to provide all the mentioned documents for a transit visa.
Indians traveling to Egypt for business or investment purposes require a business visa. In addition to mentioned mandatory documents, for a business visa, applicants need to provide their business registration proof, income tax proof, event registration details or invitation copy.
