Booking Terms & Cancellation Policies


The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) apply to all bookings and transactions made via the use of this website. By booking and transacting through this Web site, the user acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. In the case of any violation of these Terms and Conditions, Byond eTravel & Entertainment Private Limited and its subsidiaries (collectively, “”), reserve the right to seek all remedies available by law and in equity for such violations. These are legally binding terms and conditions for your use of this website and login. In these terms of use, the user may be referred to as “you”, “your”, “my” and Byond eTravel & Entertainment Private Limited may be referred to as “Byond.Travel”, “BT”, “we” and “us”. In case of any conflict between policies defined in Booking Terms & Cancellation Policies and Terms & Conditions, the policies specified under Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

Limitation on Liability

Byond.Travel merely provides intermediary services in order to facilitate highest quality services to you. Byond.Travel is not the last-mile service provider to you and therefore it shall not be or deemed to be responsible for any lack or deficiency of services provided by any person (airline, travel/tour operator or similar agency) you shall engage or hire or appoint pursuant to or resulting from the material available in this website. Neither Byond.Travel nor any of its directors, employees, agents, vendors or suppliers will be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, consequential or incidental damages including, without limitation, lost profits or revenues, costs of replacement goods, loss or damage to data arising out of the use or inability to use this Web site or any Byond.Travel product, or damages from the use of or reliance on the information present on this Web site, even if Byond.Travel has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Cancellation, No Show and Refunds will be as per operator policies.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Byond.Travel harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site and any services provided therein.

The Contract

YYour booking is confirmed and a contract exists when BT issues a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to BT immediately. Please ensure that names are exactly as stated in the relevant passport.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. You agree to provide full, complete and accurate information to the Tour Operator.

Booking on Behalf of Others

By booking on behalf of other participants, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your Tour booking, notifying BT if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed.

By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and BT will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.

Required Medical Information

You must provide any medical information reasonably requested by Byond.Travel and may be required to complete Byond.Travel's medical information form provided as part of your final confirmation process.

Medical Forms are mandatory for certain Tours. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions which may impact their ability to travel, participate in a Tour, travel to remote areas without access to medical facilities or may adversely affect the experience of others on your Tour, you must return a Medical Form, signed by a licensed and practicing physician to Byond.Travel prior to or at the time of final payment for the applicable booking.

You agree to complete the Medical Form honestly and to disclose all relevant medical information accurately and fully. Byond.Travel reserves the right to request further information or professional medical opinions where necessary, as determined in its discretion, for your safety or the safe operation of a Tour. Byond.Travel reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a Tour at any time and at your own risk and expense where the Tour Operator determines that your physical or mental condition renders you unfit for travel or you represent a danger to yourself or others.

Pregnancy is considered a medical condition and must be disclosed to Byond.Travel at the time of booking. BT may refuse to carry pregnant women over 24 weeks. The Tour Operator may refuse to carry anyone with certain medical conditions if reasonable accommodation or alternatives cannot be arranged.

You are responsible for assessing whether a Tour is suitable for you. You should consult your physician to confirm your fitness for travel and participation in any planned activities. You should seek your physician’s advice on vaccinations and medical precautions. Byond.Travel does not provide medical advice. And where information is provided by Byond.Travel on a good faith basis, it shall not be deemed as medical advice. It is your responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each aspect of the Tour based on your own unique circumstances, limitations, fitness level and medical requirements.

Travel with Byond.Travel may involve visiting remote or developing regions, where medical care may not be easily accessible and medical facilities may not meet the standards of those found in your home city or country. The condition of medical facilities in the cities or countries you may visit on your Tour varies and Byond.Travel makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the availability or standard of medical facilities in those regions.

Special Requirements

Any special requirements must be disclosed to Byond.Travel at the time of booking. Byond.Travel will use reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements or requests but this is not always possible given the nature of the destinations visited and availability of options outside a planned itinerary. Certain activities may be inaccessible to you if your mobility is limited in any way. All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to Byond.Travel at the time of booking but BT cannot guarantee that dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated. Any special requests or requirements do not form part of these Terms or the contract between you and BT and BT is not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.

Prices, Surcharges and Taxes

The published price of the Tour and any products or services offered by the Company is subject to change at any time, before booking confirmation. Tours are priced and advertised exclusive of applicable sales taxes. After a confirmation receipt has been issued by the Company, the Company reserves the right to impose surcharges on any products or services booked for reasons arising from increases in transportation costs, fuel costs, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airport charges, local operator costs, currency and exchange fluctuations, increases in taxes, or government action which impacts the price of the applicable products or services.

Cancellation Terms–General

All bookings made on BT are subject to the terms & conditions as requested by end-supplier. All completed transactions are valid for cancellation depending on the time duration specified by the hotel, activity providers and/or partner in their respective destinations.

Unless otherwise specified at the time of booking, cancellation requests will be entertained only as allowed by suppliers and partners of BT. Refunds will be made using the same payment method as used by the user while booking within 30 working days.

No refunds or compensation will be payable by Byond Travel in the event that any participant is not permitted to, or decides not to undertake or complete the tour for any reason whatsoever.

Terms for Hold Spot or Holding a Booking Functionality

Byond Travel may charge 20% – 40% of offered price of the tour package (online) for holding a spot on a fixed departure tour for a specified interval of time. However, the final confirmation will be issued only if the balance payment is realized by Byond Travel within the stipulated time subject to the following terms and conditions.

Until the payment is realized in full, should there be an increase in prices, the same will be intimated and charged to you in accordance to the terms listed in the section labeled Prices, Surcharges and Taxes of this document. Until the payment is realized in full, the booking is subject to cancellation by Byond Travel without prior notice.

If the payment is not approved on given credit card number(s), you will be notified as soon as possible. In such a scenario you need to speak to the credit card company, or provide alternate credit card number, or change the mode of payment as applicable.

In case of unavailability of the offered hotels, services, activities, guides, we will refund your paid amount without any deductions.

Airfare and Airline Ticketing

Tour prices do not include international or other airfare unless expressly mentioned in the Tour’s descriptions. Byond Travel will quote the best price available for the travel dates requested at the time the quote is generated. Quotes provide an estimate only and are not a firm price commitment by Byond Travel or the applicable air carrier(s).

Byond Travel acts only as an information provider for the applicable air carrier and the air carrier terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of the air travel ticket. Please consult the air carrier’s applicable terms and conditions and conditions of carriage for complete information including applicable cancellation terms. Byond Travel is not responsible for changes in air itineraries or flight times and does not provide advice or alerts regarding air travel tickets, flight status or delays.

Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies. You must have a passport that is valid 6 months after the last date of travel as set out on your itinerary. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the Tour, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documentation. You agree that you are responsible for the full amount of any loss or expense incurred by Byond Travel that is a direct result of your failure to secure or be in possession of proper travel documentation. Byond Travel does not provide advice on travel documents and makes no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment and you agree that Byond Travel is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.

Byond Postpaid

Byond Postpaid is offered to users by Byond.Travel in collaboration with its postpaid partners – [Bridge Fintech Solutions Pvt Ltd(FINZY); Camden Town Technologies Private Limited(ZEST)] (each a “Partner”).

Byond.Travel acts as an introducer for the Partner, who offers users a credit facility that users can utilise for making bookings on the Website. When a user chooses Byond Postpaid, the Partner’s facility is set as the default payment method for the booking. In such a case, the Partner will settle the costs of the booking with Byond.Travel on the user’s behalf and the user will need to repay the Partner as per its terms and conditions. This assumes that the user’s bookings will be eligible for the Partner’s credit facility.

The following terms shall apply to users of the Byond Postpaid program:

  • Partner Agreements. Users of Byond Postpaid will be bound by the terms and conditions contained in the agreements between the user and the relevant Partner (“Partner Agreement”) in addition to the Terms & Conditions and these Booking Terms & Cancellation Policies. Users acknowledge that Byond.Travel is not a party to the Partner Agreement and will incur no liability or burden thereunder. Any questions, concerns or grievances pertaining to the Partner’s credit facility or the Partner Agreement may be directed to the Partner at [#44, SKS Plaza, II Floor, 100 feet Road, Kormangala, Bangalore- 560095 (FINZY) ; Ground and Third Floor, Indiqube Celestia, Site No. 19 & 20, 1A Block Koramangala, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034 (ZEST) ].
  • Byond.Travel’s Role. Users further acknowledge that Byond.Travel’s sole responsibility will be to act as an intermediary between the user and the Partner, and a reseller/channel partner for the Partner’s products and services. Byond.Travel does represent the Partner and makes no representations or warranties regarding the Partner or the Partner’s services.
  • Payments All payments for trips or packages booked using Byond Postpaid will be made by the user to the Partner in accordance with the Partner Agreement. User agrees and acknowledges that any delay or failure to make timely payments to the Partner may result in the Partner levying additional charges, late fees, penalties or interest in accordance with the Partner Agreement.
  • Refunds Without prejudice to anything contained in these Booking Terms & Cancellation Policies, users agree that any refunds due and payable by Byond.Travel (if any) will be paid directly to the concerned user. Users will remain solely responsible for payment/repayment to Partners in respect of such trips/packages, and Byond.Travel will not be responsible for such payment/repayment to the Partner under any circumstances.
  • Cancellation Without prejudice to anything contained in Section 8 (Cancellation Terms – General), a user will be liable to pay the applicable cancellation fees or charges for any trip/package/booking cancelled by the user as per the applicable cancellation policy. In addition, the user will be liable to pay [Byond.Travel] a postpaid cancellation fees equal to 3% of the tour price (“Postpaid Cancellation Fees”).
  • Limitation of Liability. Without prejudice to Section 2 (Limitation of Liability) of these Booking Terms & Conditions, the user agrees that Byond.Travel and its directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any losses, damage or injury caused to the user arising out of the Partner’s acts or omissions in respect of the Byond Postpaid program.
